Metal Grinder - released
Okay its finished. I've released a project before but i think this is the first time I lunch something fun, so this counts like my first game. I was working in a "small" sized metroidvania, when suddenly i felt like i was going nowhere and not capable of making fitting art assets basically. So i decided to make something short (this time for serious) that could make in a week like in an extended game jam. It ended up takin a month plus, but it's finished and regardless of the success it may have i think releasing "game jam" type projects is the right direction to go.
Actually, this ended up being a short version of my first and unfinished project, in which i was inspired by katana zero to make a roguelike. So, if you are struggling with gamedev and would want an advice, try coming up with a game idea you could make in a week, and spend the next month or two expanding and polishing the idea. If you are scared of learning certain topic, face it and include it in your next project. Its the way I'll be taking from now on.
